St. Louise Kids’ Club provides a secure and nurturing before and after-school program for students in grades K-8, held at the Lavelle Center/Gymnasium. We also offer Pre-K After School Care in the dedicated Pre-K wing, providing a structured environment with activities like crafts, games, story time, outdoor play, rest, and snacks.

 

Exciting News: New Drop-In After-School Care Program at St. Louise Kids' Club!

We are thrilled to announce our new Drop-In Program at St. Louise Kids' Club, offering flexible after-school care for students in grades K-8. This convenient service is perfect for families needing occasional care, ensuring your child has a safe and nurturing environment after school.

 

Details of the Drop-In Program:

  • Who: Students in grades K-8
  • Cost: $12 per hour per child
  • How to Register: Families must complete a registration form by 7:00 PM the night before care is needed.

Hours of Operation:

  • Before School: 7:00-8:15 AM (Monday-Friday)
  • After School: 2:00-5:45 PM on Mondays, and 3:00-5:45 PM (Tuesday-Friday).

 

Program Highlights:

  • Smooth Transitions: Kids’ Club ensures a seamless shift between school and after-school care, with activities that foster academic interests, physical activity, and social-emotional growth.
  • Homework/Reading Time: Dedicated sessions from Monday to Thursday:
    • Grades K-3: 3:00-4:00 PM
    • Grades 4-8: 4:00-4:45 PM
    • This time is supervised by a St. Louise School teacher, providing a quiet and supportive setting for homework completion or reading. Students without homework are encouraged to engage in academic activities like math games.
  • Alignment with School Policies: Kids' Club operates under the same policies and expectations as the school regarding student behavior and parental involvement.

 

Parent Involvement:

  • St. Louise Kids’ Club values the input and cooperation of all parents. For recommendations, concerns, or questions, parents are encouraged to contact the school administration or the Kids’ Club Director, Marilu De La Torre. Additionally, parents interested in volunteering or sharing their talents are welcome to reach out to the director.
