About Me

Hello! I am excited to be your student's teacher at St. Louise this year. I began teaching at St. Louise in 2021 after teaching for 10 years at Christ the King in Seattle.  I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a B.A. in Psychology and then went on to earn my Masters in Teaching from W.S.U. I began teaching in the Northshore School District in 1993. In 1995, I stepped away from teaching to raise my children. When I felt ready to come back to work, my vision and priorities had changed. God led me to Catholic Schools, and I am forever grateful.

My husband Randy & I were married in 1993 and have four grown children, two boys and two girls. Our oldest two are married and we are the proud grandparents of Noah. We belong to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Bothell. I love traveling, reading, gardening, and spending time with my friends and family.

First grade is such an exciting year. I love watching students use all those skills they learned in kindergarten, then learn some new ones, and put them altogether to become strong readers. There is nothing better than watching those light bulbs go on when a student discovers they can read independently. It is going to be a great year!
