About Me
I began my St. Louise career in 2008, as a parent. I have 4 children, two that have graduated from St. Louise and two that are still here. I have been a substitute in almost every classroom and a co-teacher in Kindergarten. I am excited to begin my fourth year as the Pre-Kindergarten teacher.
After graduating from Valparaiso University (in Indiana), with a degree of Bachelor of Science, in Elementary Education, with a Reading Endorsement, I taught 7 years in the Seattle Public Schools, as a Reading Specialist, and as a first and second grade teacher. I also led and taught preschool VBS for 5 years. I received my Master's in Education from Lesley University, in 2001.
I live in Bellevue, with my husband Brian, 4 children, and dog Copper. I enjoy teaching in a Catholic school, where I can practice my faith and spread my love of God. I believe learning should be fun. I incorporate songs, movement, and hands-on activities throughout the day.
"You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother's womb. I praise you, because I am wonderfully made; wonderful are your works! My very self you know. My bones are not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, fashioned in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw me unformed; in your book all are written down; my days were shaped, before one came to be." Psalms 139: 13-16:
"Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18:
