About Mrs. Maloney
This will be my sixteenth-year teaching science! I love connecting what we observe in the world around us with scientific concepts we learn in the classroom. In my class, your students will be modeling the work of the industry by keeping a lab notebook and doing active investigations.
Part of the reason I am able to do this is the industry experience I gained by working in a biopharmaceutical lab for five years before teaching. Since then, I have worked to refine my craft by earning a Masters degree in Teaching Math and Science. After that, I earned my National Board Certification in Science. In my free time I love dancing and playing with my family!
