Third Grade
Third grade at St. Louise School emphasizes developing responsibility, cooperative learning, and independent thinking in a faith-centered environment. Students engage in whole group and small group instruction that recognizes individual learning styles, fostering a love for lifelong learning.
3rd Grade Overview:

Curriculum Overview:
- Religion: Understanding God’s love through the church, worship, and discipleship.
- Reading and Language Arts: Decoding, comprehension, paragraph and creative writing, grammar, and spelling.
- Math: Multiplication, division, fractions, and geometry.
- Science: Inquiry-based learning in physics, life, and earth sciences.
- Social Studies: Map skills, states and regions of the US, and government.
Service Projects:
- Organize church pews for weekend Mass.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives like food drives and support for New Bethlehem Project and Standing with Haiti programs.
Enrichment Opportunities:
- Field trips, cultural enrichment activities, and "Big Buddy" roles with kindergarteners.
